The November 1917 edition contains a letter from AMS. The published letter only describes the correspondent as a 'Gardener CO'. A handwritten annotation by AMS states that that it is 'My letter from ... Booklet entitled 'A New Catechism of Socialism' by E. Belfort Bax and H Quelch LIA/24/3/2As the title suggests, this is an instructional booklet designed to introduce the new reader to the principles of Socialism. It is structured in the form of questions posed by the student and answers from the authors. There is a short list of socialist publications at the end of the book. Booklet entitled 'The Peril of Conscription' by J. Bruce Glasier LIA/24/3/3A booklet published by the Independent Labour Party about conscription and the percieved evils that resulted from it 'The No-conscription Fellowship' a souvenir booklet published after 1919 LIA/24/3/4This souvenir booklet has contributions from a number of supporters of the no conscription movement. It is annotated in several places by AMS and each contributor is identified with a small photograph at the beginning of his chapter. The introduction and concluding address is by Clifford Allen (later Lord Allen of Hurtwood). This collection contains ... Paperback book entitled 'The Case for Socialism' by Fred Henderson LIA/24/3/5Written by an ILP activist, this is a justification of the Socialist cause. It does not mention the First World War and was last published in 1912.
