It is addressed to 13 Rifle Butt Road, Kemptown, Brighton. AL was the brother of Percy Lander, Victor William Lander's father - check?. Postcard to Emilia Mary Steel (later Lander) from her brother Lance Corporal Alfred John 'Jack' Steel LIA/34/2/2Postcard thanks EMS for her parcel. It is addressed to 117 Marine Parade, Brighton where EMS was in Service. The front of the postcard shows 8 uniformed men with rifles at a military camp. Postcard with greetings from Eastleigh, Hampshire to Emilia 'Millie' Mary Steel (later Lander) from her mother LIA/34/2/3The postcard refers to bad news. The front shows various scenes in Eastleigh and is addressed care of an address in Preston Park, Brighton. Postcard to Emilia 'Millie' Mary Steel (later Lander) from 'Rosie' LIA/34/2/4The postcard is from Worthing and addressed to 27 Sussex Square, Kemptown, Brighton where EMS was in service and arranges to meet the following day. The front shows Canterbury Cathedral Baptistry. Birthday postcard to Percy Lander from his mother LIA/34/2/5Postcard is addressed to the Whitehawk estate. The front shows a boy with tennis racket and ball. Postcard to Victor William Lander From '"Snowy", "Tiddler" and Kitten' LIA/34/2/6The front of the postcard shows a dog with a bone saying '"I'm fed up of this meat ration - Look at this for a Sunday dinner!"'. The postcard is addressed to the Catherine James Ward at the Sussex County Hospital, Brighton and the writer hopes VWL will get well soon.
