I was given a small ceramic shoe (white with orange laces and a dog head) by my late grandmother. The shoe says “A Present From Brighton” on one side and has our family name and the number 6980 on the other side. My grandmother wrote “England 1928” on the bottom. She was living in England at that time. Does anyone know anything about this item or why it would have been given to my Grandmother?
