Do any of you know if there use to be a Blacksmiths yard, at the back of 19 Rock street, corner of St, Marks street Kemp Town Brighton in the early 1900s or before. only when I was a small child I use to live in that cottage, and there was a big iron pole in the middle of the yard in a shed ,(where my dad did carpentry) they told me it use to be a blacksmiths cottage and yard.many many years before they bought it.
