My great grandfather ran boot and shoe shops at 17 and 18 St Georges Road, Kemp Town, around the 1899.
He also had establishments at 32 Preston ville Road and 35 Upper St. James Street.
I would love to know more about his ’empire’ and in particular locate any photographs of his shops.
Anyone any ideas where I should start?
