Ive recently moved into 2 Lancaster Road and have been trying to find some history on the building – its a big imposing building on the street unlike any of the others. Ive found that Womens Rights advocate Louisa Martindale and her daughters lived here…
But I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me find out any other significants of this building, or where I could find out more about how long the Martindales lived her. Any help or advice on where I could look would be greatfully appreciated.
