i am still looking for family history help with regard to my great grandmother elizabeth harland who was born in portsmouth in 1862?she married my great grandfather james in the 1890;s and had my grandfather berty in 1897.i have hit a stumbling block with her parents who i only have her fathers name charles on wedding certificate and that he was a shoemaker from portsmouth.i have looked in census back to 1860 and cant quite make a connection as the only charles is a fisherman.all help from ayone here would be greatly appreciated.maybe someone there is related too.
