Looking for anyone who is related to or interested in these names.
The BANKS family lived in Brighton and Hove from about 1850 – my branch moved from Ringmer. Many of them were gardeners and florists. One was a phtotographer.
The BRIGDEN family were in Brighton by 1841 – my lot moved from Cuckfield. They were tailors, undertakers and coachmakers (latterly automotives).
WOOLGAR family – moved to district by mid 1800’s ish. lived in Brighton, Hove, Fishersgate, Southwick and later in Shoreham etc. Sailors, pleasureboatmen, bathing machine operators and fishermen.
