Does anyone know of a Fish and Chip Restaurant in the North Laine? I was taken there in the 1990’s and told this was the best fish and chip restaurant in Brighton. There was a big chip fryer and a restaurant area where the waitresses were dressed in vintage black dresses with a little white apron and a white cap on their heads like the old Lyons Tea House uniforms. It could be 44-47 Gardner Street where the Gourmet Burger Kitchen is now, next to the Komedia, as the area of the premises looks the same, but I’m unable to obtain any information. Thank you.
