This a strange name, does anyone remember two sisters, the Misses Fuggles, who ran a little private school in Powis Square? I was a pupil there in about 1937.
I remember there was an ominous-looking cane which hung on the wall in the entrance hall. It was actually used once to my recollection, on a boy called Roland. Are you there, Roland? I think you were a little younger than I, and I am 82!!!
