I have got to a William Fuller from Battle Sx. married a Elizabeth Smith/ Thorpe [actually ran off with him][ and she had 4 children all born at Shoreham, plus one son born 1891 in Worthing. Sx. I will work on it later and see if it fits in at all.If you ever see anything on BEANEY OR SCAMP [MORE rOMANY fAMILIES [OR gypsies], will you let me know please. many thanks have a nice day —Ann Re: FULLER by rosalind hersee 17 July 2007Hi Ann..haven’t been on board for quite a while…my paternal grandmother was a Fuller and…this is where it gets complicated…my maternal grandmother, who was a Romany…Leander Thorpe…lived in Buckler Street…only recently discovered the Romany connection and was becoming aware of the number of Thorpe’s marrying Fullers…do you know if these are all Romany names…my father’s name was Hersee. There is another gentleman looking for information on William and Elizabeth…I believe her husband had a public house…have a look at a website called curious fox or failing that if you let me have your e-mail address I will pass it onto him.
