Does anyone have photos of Gardner Street, Brighton taken between 1967 and 1986? Specifically I am looking for numbers 36-38 which was owned by my father from 1973 to 1986 as Cleanerhomes electrical retailer and before that it was a supermarket, possibly Liptons (remember them?) I worked in the shop myself between 1980 and 1985 and have very fond memories of what was a very lively and buzzing street. I remember Zerbs cafe opposite us, Record round up, The kitchen centre on the corner owned by Teddy Werton and the fashion shop Nasty amongst others. I would love to see some pics from then.
