I have been trying for sometime now to find out more information on a Butcher’s shop called King & Son which was at 62 Western Road from 1800 to 1910 approx. and Lea & Son which was at 63 – 65 Western Road until the 1950’s or 60’s. The King family that owned the Butcher’s shop were my family on my Father’s side and my Grandmother on my Mother’s side worked at Lea & Son. If anyone has any knowledge of these shops or pictures I would be grateful. I have looked at all the Brighton historical photo collections and books but cannot find anything.
