Is anyone aware of a building that used to be stables with rooms above them in Lower Market Street? I’m trying to trace a Richard Wilkinson that apparently lived there as per the 1881 census.
Richard also lived at 12 Sussex Street and 15 Mighell Street. He had a variety of occupations including porter, house painter and butler. He may have also had a connection to the spirtualist church in Mighell Street.
His brother John lived at 28 Rose Hill Terrace with his wife Emma and daughter Caroline.
