This is NOT an electric vacuum cleaner. My Mother had one before the 39/45 war. It was an upright machine and worked on the principle that when one pushed it over carpet the wheels turned an internal fan that provided quite considerable suction that drew the dirt up into a canvas bag that one emptied as required. It was a superb device and I would appreciate it if anyone remembers it and possibly has details would let me know.
