A relative has shown me a photo of a sampler made by a child relative born 1851 who attended North Lane School in late 1850s – early 1860s.
Does anyone know where this School was? I know it is now spelt Laine but it says Lane on the sampler.
I guess it isn’t the Fawcett/Margaret Hardy buildings for someone that young.
