Can anyone help with information and pictures of what was the first Police Convalescent Home – Clarendon Villas in Hove – I think it opend in 1889/1890 – My confusion lays in the fact that it seems to have moved to Portland Road in 1893/84 but Portland Road was extended to include Clarendon Villas at about the same time, so are they the same place or two different buildings and does the origanl Clarendon Villas Home still exist as a building to day? – Any offers??? – Cheers – ANDY ALIFFE
