A correction to one message, re Moulsescoombe School, it was built in the early thirties. At that time it was the only school in the area, consisting of infants ,juniors and seniors. with a very large playing field. The area around the school was farmland and l can remember a shepherd with his crook guiding his flock over the school playing fields to his farm
