Do you know the location (address) of Sherry’s, the bar that was there during the war? My cousin Primrose taylor was barmaid there?
Some Old Varndeanians (on a “contact” site)are confused about the “New Regent” and where was “Sherry’s and was there a successor to Sherrys because they knew it became derelict. . .and did it have a balcony?
It did I sat there with the Kurchin band leader’s son in 1939.
So my question is: where was Sherry’s what was the stereet address and when did it close and where was or were the entries?
