For anyone who had been following that thread.
I found several threads on another web site, which were started up to five years previously, by people researching Brighton people or businesses and which had attracted no responses.
Having recently found this site myself, and been staggered by the ancient and modern knowledgebase of its core contributers and their gracious sharing of myriad references, I shepherded many toward this site.
The one mentioned, turned out to be family of a dear old friend of mine, long departed.
