I am researching the history of the Level and am particularly interested in the 1930 makeover by Capt Bertie Maclaren, which included the layout of the childrens play area/cafe/toilets. Does anyone have any images/cinefilm etc.. of the area after this redisegn – particularly showing the planting schemes put in place? (I have already scoured the James Grey collection and the local history centre…)
