Papers related to Frederick Arthur Langridge
From: Letter in the AtticFrederick Arthur Langridge married Frederick George Stoner’s sister Kathleen Mary Langridge in 1940. The papers include a school certificate and report for FAL, a wedding photo, a list of wedding presents, and a greetings telegram to the bride and groom.
FAL served as a Private in the Second World War and was reported missing in November 1942. The papers include a telegram from the Infantry Record Office informing KML that her husband was missing and a telegram from FAL to KML advising that he was in hospital.
In 1944, FAL was stationed at Monastery Internment Camp near Jerusalem and the 1944 Christmas Day menu, signed by FAL’s companions, is included in the collection.
