Geoffrey's Tour of Brighton and Hove

The 2010 Anniversary Tour of Brighton and Hove is presented each week, for ten weeks. This week’s tour is by one of the members of the team who produced the original My Brighton project, Geoffrey Mead. Geoffrey has picked his 10 favourite locations in the city. To introduce his tour Geoffrey writes:

‘I was born and raised in Brighton and have never lived anywhere else. I teach Local History and Landscape Studies at University of Sussex and find Brighton & Hove an endless succession of research opportunities. My doctoral thesis is on Patcham suburban housing but I am equally happy in the bustle of the North Laine or the natural beauty of Hollingbury Woods. Brighton & Hove is a city that never palls and I am proud to be part of it.’
