In Memoriam: Xaverian College; Brother Benedict

Attree Villa was designed by Charles Barry (best known for his design of the Houses of Parliament) and completed in 1830. It was used as an Xavarian College for Catholic boys from around 1909-1966

I attended Xaverian college between 1954 and 1959. Others who were there during that period may remember Brother Benedict (The Younger) who taught Science 1957-1959. I have had the good fortune, with the help of another Old Xaverian (Paul Simpson) to find and share emails with Brother Benedict (now known as Brother Peter Fitzpatrick in the USA. Unfortunately, we have recently discovered that Brother Peter has recently passed away at the ripe old age of 92. I am going to attempt to add a Memoriam to Brother Peter which was posted by the Xaverian fraternity.
If this is not successful you are welcome to contact me by email to enable me to forward the same to you.
