My parents , Ted and Freda Edenborough, were close neighbours and friends in Montpelier Crescent after WW2 and I was born there in 1948. I remember clearly seeing them rehearse under the watchful eye of Joan, wife, mother, musician and manager! I should still have a copy of one of their records, but would need to search for it. I also must have some photos in my parents’ albums.
Vivian, I think, had an amazing butterfly collection, which fascinated me as a child.
The three children were named so that they could appear as the 3V’s, which was a forward looking decision of a dedicated showbiz family, but did not prove very successful, if memory serves me.
I would love to find out more if anyone can help, and I shall endeavour to share more history if possible.
