De La Salle:final year

I saw some of the earlier contributions re De La Salle, I can add this photo which was taken at the same time as the similar one on the website, which I think was the year below us. It was definitely the final year of De La Salle, this was my year 3X, when we went back to school in Sept 1971 for my 4th year it was as Cardinal Newman School, a new comprehensive, merged with Cottesmore Secondary across the road on Upper Drive Hove. I have ll the names in the photo if you want them. I am first on the left , front row.

The secondpicture is my final year (or part of them) at Cardinal Newman School in the summer of 1976 (the chronology is correct as I did 4th year , 5th year and 3 years in the 6th form)I can’t remember who took the photo and I can’t remember all the names, but again can supply most if you want. I am rather embarassingly the one baring my chest. I think the picture was taken around the time of the ‘A’ level exams in June which is possibly why only part of the year is in the pic
