Factory Locations?

These three photos show CVA/Kearney & Trecker assembly facilities, but I am not quite sure where they are.  The first photo states “Dividing Head Assembly” on the back, it could be Portland Road or Eaton Road, but I’m not sure.  The other two show assembly of similar smallish parts, with a new Dividing Head in the foreground of the second photo, but clearly a different room.   Again it could be Portland Road or Eaton Road, and from the way the guy in the last photo is dressed probably mid 1960’s, ………. and 10 past 9 to be exact, but where?

  • Peter, this looks like the dividing head assembly room at Eaton Road. You can see the aluminium head castings.
    This was behind the mill assembly bay and before the paint shop. Regards Doug

  • Hi, My dad worked at Kearney and Trekkers in the late 60s.As far as I know it was in Portland Rd Hove then later in School Rd Hove.
