Holocaust survivor, Charlotte White was born, with her twin sister, Trude, in Aschaffenburg, Holland, a hundred years ago. After WWII Charlotte moved to London, lived in Streatham. When she retired she moved to a Hove seafront flat and quickly made many friends locally.
Today her family, together with staff and residents at Hyman Fine House, a Jewish care home in Brighton where Charlotte moved to four years ago, celebrated her very special birthday. The Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Councillor Denise Cobb, visited to join in the celebrations, which included a birthday cake in the shape of 100.
