Promoting bee conservation at Falmer

On Friday 13th September Sussex Community Rail Partnership, The Bee Friendly Trust and GTR,  unveiled the culmination of the work at Falmer station footbridge promoting bee conservation. They worked with street artist HarpoArt to create this 17m-long, bee-themed mural that tells the story of pollination and pollinators.

The Bee Friendly Trust has worked hard to coordinate this amazing mural on the Amex Footbridge which was officially unveiled by the Mayor of Brighton & Hove,  Councillor Alexandra Phillips. The work was funded through kind donations from GTR and ACoRP (Association of Community Railway Partnerships www.communityrail.org.uk)
